Very quick response and excellent customer service. The customer suspected a gas leak on their gas hob and was understandably concerned, wanting the issue resolved immediately. Upon inspection, we identified a leak on the gas supply pipework, which meant the existing gas hob could not be safely reconnected. Working alongside Greg, we isolated and removed the faulty section of the gas line that was causing the leak. Once the pipework had been made safe, Greg supplied and installed a new induction hob. The customer was kept informed throughout the process, and the work was completed promptly and professionally. The electrician arrived on time and came fully prepared. He checked all sockets, switches, and the fuse boxes. He fixed a broken socket in one of the rooms and replaced the carbon monoxide alarm, which was a big relief. Greg carried out the electrical safety inspection on our property this week and I was very impressed. Not only was he very thorough and checked aspects of the property no other contractor ever has (such as outdoor lights, smoke alarms) he picked up a serious fault with the mains feed coming into the property and notified the national grid immediatley. He was punctual, polite and even dropped back over the following day to confirm that the national grid had been out to resolve the dangerous fault and put up the replacement outside light. This was the first one I had done, so I wasn't too sure what to expect but Greg was more than happy to provide some information on this and the general process he'd be going through. During the safety check Greg took his time to ensure that our usually very timid cat was comfortable and calm as could be, showing a level of care that goes beyond the standard.
